In our first publication on family life we, saw that God is so much interested in our family and there is the need for us to make amends where ever we have erred.We concluded by saying that God is our father and that if we realize where we have erred, and go back ,that he will not disown us. The question now in this continuation is. How is your family life like? Can you make both of your family as a responsible father/mother?if say yes, bravo! If you say no, there is room for a change.  Your can not have a true happy family without Jesus at the center of your family life.What is then the basis of a happy family? The answer is not far fetch. The answer is knowing God, his word and applying it in any given situation in your family.Ask your self  in any given situation:this step that I am about to take, will it please God? Or what will Jesus do in this kind of situation. If you are confused ask God and allow him give you an answer.Except if you are faking your christian life. If  indeed you are a true christian, you will always seek the face of God and to please the Him, If you say no, meaning that your are not a fake christian, then behave like a child of God in your home.
Why would you be a terror in you home and go out there to behave like a saint You appear there as if you are a caring and loving person. Who are you deceiving. You can deceive man but cannot deceive God.
An adage says that charity begins from home. But with your contrary attitude to this adage, you are saying charity begins from outside. Remember that what ever you do out there, while your family is languishing in pain is not of God: why because God is interested in that family that he has put you in charge you will one day, answer for it. Know ye that the first group of people you see, before you go out there to give a wrong picture of your self, is your family.
 Do not get me wrong, there is nothing bad assisting people out there. yes God loves that: remember we are dealing with the subject of what God wants from a christian home. We should be living example.Ambassador for Christ A home where love radiates from. "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven" Matt chapter 5 verse 16. Your family should stand out as a christian home around your neighborhood. My wife or husband is stubborn/difficult, he or she nags, not neat. not understanding, so demanding all these are known: and can not be ruled out: but remember you are doing the will of God who has asked you to love. Love him, love her despite those short comings of his/hers. Love him/her because your heavenly father has asked you to do so. Is in obeying God, that he will fight for you  Obey him first and see what God will do.By your hating. fighting, quarreling, nagging keeping two homes  divorce and separation will not solve the matter and can not change any thing, but rather it will worsen the situation.Do your bit and commit him/her to his/her maker.  Human strategy will rake more havoc in your home. Is only God that can touch and change any people no matter how difficult the person might be. Is only God that has the ability to change any human being. Love is another powerful weapon to win any human being. I am not saying that it will be very easy , but the scripture tells me that with God, nothing shall be impossible Luke 1 verse 37. As far as your are on the Lord"s side you will over come. I have not seen evil over take good or darkness over take light. Hear the conclusion of the matter 1st John chapter 4 verse 7-12-  7 Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another, 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us verse 20. If a man say, I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar: For he that loveth not his brither whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? Can you beat that? You can turn a new leaf tody. It is not yet late. Just ask God to come into your life with sincerely of heart he will and with him stepping into your family, You family life will be sweetened and will become a testimony and wonder to all who knew you before. Praise the Lord! Halleluyah
       

Our family life part 1

We would take a look into our family life, So that at the end of the day we will score ourselves most especially Christian homes. The Bible teaches that the institution of family is of divine origin and purpose. The Bible has guide line for families to stay together; but what do we see today in families. Instead of enjoying they are enduring. Wife enduring Husband Husband enduring wife and children enduring their parents. Where is the place of the Biblical guide line in your family. Some one would want to say this writer does not understand what I am going though or what I have gone though. There is no gainsaying about that.You are very right and correct. I would want say  may be thing are no longer the way they were when you got married him or her. But remember on your wedding day both of you were very happy; and the officiating Minister asked several question which were answered by both of you There was one that ended this way "for better and for worse till death do us path" Now things are not the way they were. Business is no longer booming, Husband lost his job, wife has not yet had a child for you, feeding allowance has dropped, children have let the wonderful private colleges they hitherto attended. All these were seen and that was why that for better and for worse come during that wedding day. So that it will check mate you, when difficult time comes. This was so because when such a time which we do not pray for comes, you would know what can of treatment give or decision you would take against you spouse.In families you see divorce on the high side, families are beset, break down of authority, no quality time with the children and a lot of others issue that does not gladden the family. Ephesians 5 verse 22 "Wives submit yourselves unto your husband as unto the Lord" and Ephesians 5 verse 25 it say "Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it" In Ephesians 6 verse 1-3 " Children, Obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour your father and mother: which is the first commandment with a promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And verse 4 added by saying " and ye fathers provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our families will not meet up with God's divine purpose if  any of these is missing.Can your now see that God balanced the equation for our families, Hear what 2 Timothy 2 verse 15 has to say to us " Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth" Did you get that? studying does not only imply  to studying your Bible, speak in tongue, prophesy and lay hands. No, it is more than that. You have to study your wife, wife you have to study your husband and as you study yourselves so will you also study your children. If you have only one child study he or she if you ten study the ten that is the only way you can show your self approved unto God....... If your pull all the crowed and there is no peace in your family Sir and Ma you have just missed it. If you have your Bible, open to 1st Corinthians 13 verse 1-13. As you studying this passage go ahead. I will allow you ponder as that head of the family Husband of that christian home. Father and mother that has children where are your children or child, where is your wife, where is your husband. That woman that you are kissing and romancing is she yours? That man in your arm is he your husband? Why would you make your family sad? Come, God is ever willing to receive you he is your father he will not disown you. Till we meet again. stay blessed

Above are clips of 2012 Women convention with the Theme  ( Who is a virtuous woman?) By the grace of God, the Glorious Women of Good Ground Bible Ministry  will be  having such of it's kind this year 2013 with the Theme (The End Time Woman ) Matthew 24 vs 44. ('' Therefore be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh" 

This convention will be coming up on the 28th of July 2013.

Aim: To bring women believers together to identify their role and position in their homes and church/ministry.

The convention is always preceded by a seminar, where a lot of exposition will be made to women, in the area of home keeping, bringing up of children in the way of the Lord and their role in the kingdom work etc.

This is also meant to equip the women in this end time: so that they will take their rightful place as daughters of  Zion in the kingdom work. They will also be made to know that they have enormous role in the kingdom work and their voice should be heard. 

Living Water 2013

The Living Water programme which I talk about, sometime in the the month of March, which is one of Good Ground Bible Ministry's Major annual Easter programme has come and gone,  may the Almighty God be praised. The Theme for this year was THE GOD OF ALL GRACE. It was really great. The God of all grace showered his grace on his people.Heaven was thrown into a momentum of joy;because both the young and old genuinely gave their lives to God. The
 scripture in Luke Chapter 15 verse 7  which says" I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth,more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." The Living Water Programme is basically to meet with this mandate of soul winning..There were also lots and lots of prophesies to the glory of God. There were deliverance s., breaking of  yokes and healing. The men of God that were used  as  vessel were, Pastor Okolie Ikechukwu Michael of Kingdom Power Ministry - Lagos Nigeria and Pastor Oyewole Shitta

The Ministers Conference which is an integral part of this programme was not left out. Several Ministers from different Ministries were invited to inpact the understanding of the word and to know the purpose for which they are called in to different ministries. The up coming/young Minister  were blessed by the vast knowledge of these senior ministers with various topics like:

 (a) What is Ministry Dr Luke Nnadi (Rector- West Africa Bible College Ijegun Egba satellite Lagos

(b) What are the Pit Falls in Ministry and how do we avoid them( Bishop Amao Thomas:- General Overseer,All Bible Believing Assembly (ABBA) Ijegun-Egba

(c) The Glorious  End Time Minister (Bishop Matthew Omodiagbe :- Liberation Word International Ministry, Satellite Town)

(d) The Main Focus(Rev Frank Eboagu:- (Host and General Overseer Good Ground Bible Minitry, Satellite Town Lagos).

The health aspect was treated by Dr Ginigeme (Total Care Medical Centre, Satellite Town, Lagos.

In all the crusade was a huge success. and if Jesus tarries it will be getting better and better every year.

You are a ministers in your own little corner. Try and touch somebodies life. Put smiles on people's face. That is why that sister that brother is by your side. The book of Ecc 11 verse 1 "cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see  your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Matthew 5 verse 16

You and Easter

Oh yes, Easter is around the corner and Christians all over the world, I believe are getting set for this Easter break. Some will travel to see old time friends, some will go to the beach for picnic and some to have their bodies tanned, some will spend so much to host a party, all in the name of Easter: and so many other things not mentioned. Easter celebration to many is about wining and dining. Thus the title You and Easter.

Is that all that this period Easter means to you? Sadly some Christians who are supposed to be light to the people, are the most guilty of it. Are you celebrating because you owed a debt and could not pay and someone else did it for you or because somebody died in your place?

Easter period should be for sober reflection. John Chapter 3 verse 16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.God gave out the only son that he had for you and me. To save us from damnation , he had to die the most shameful death,death on the cross like a criminal which he was not.  How many of you that are celebrating Easter can give out your pet for sacrifice of any form?  How many of you can give up any of your child as a ransom for another person?

Easter is all about the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. All that he did was because he loves us.  How much love do you have for him? He cares for you.Do you care for him?. This is the time to reflect on your activities and see where you have missed it and make it right with God. As you make your way right with him or should you decide to make him your Lord and personal savior, he is willing to accept you. There is no sin that God can not forgive you of.  He is your father. If you have accepted him say this prayer after me.

Heavenly father, I accept you as my Lord and personal savior; please have mercy on me. I repent and come back to you. Cleanse me from all filthiness and write my name in the book of life in Jesus Name Amen. If you have done it sincerely rejoice, and look for a bible believing church to fellowship with. Remain faithful in God's presence. Jesus Christ is Lord.

Living Water Crusade

 Living Water Crusade is an annual crusade that is always held a week before Easter. The crusade has three components - (a) Free Medical  Care (b) Ministers' Conference and the Crusade itself where the word is taught and believers receive miracles and blessings from God. The Living Water crusade is drawn from John Chapter 4 verse 10 and John Chapter 7 verse 38.

Free Medical Care:                                                                                                                            
The free Medical Care is a forum where qualified Doctors and Nurses are invited to attend to the less privileged people for free. Drugs and treatment are free . It is a non denominational welfare package. Everyone is welcome. During this time Doctors are invited to give health talks.

Ministers' Conference                                                                                                                            

The Ministers' Conference is designed to build an end time army for the Lord.  Training is free. Seasoned Men of God are invited to strengthen and enhance the capacities of other ministers who in turn return to their different Churches/Ministries to implement all that they were taught during the conference. The following  topics will be taught at the 2013 Ministers' Conference.

a.What is Ministry?
b.What are the pitfalls in Ministry and how do we avoid them?
c.The glorious End time Minister
d.The main focus.

The conference will run for two days, Friday and Saturday.

Crusade Proper
 
 The crusades are usually held in the evenings and  as in the case of the Ministers' Conference, different Men of God are invited to minister to souls. People are led to Christ Jesus. Some people are delivered from the shackles of the enemy. This period is always glorious and God has used various vessels to meet the needs of his people every year.

The vessel God chose and has been using for this task in the past ten years is Reverend Frank Eboagu of Good Ground Bible Ministry, Satellite Town Lagos, Nigeria

True Promotion 2

 We continue on true promotion like it was said in our first edition. So we will go further to understand what true promotion means. If you really want God to promote you, you must be ready to exercise patience. God does things in His own time. The fact remains that no one can fault what God does. A lot of what we regard as success are not real success, because they don't last. But whatever God does abides forever. The only reason God will have to reverse His promotion in the life of a man is when the individual goes into sin. Sin brings reproach. That is why the Bible says "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach unto a people"-Proverbs Chapter 14: 34. To exalt means to promote. Righteousness is a catalyst that accelerates your promotion.

   There is some thing about the righteous which is very interesting -"But the path of the just is as the shinning light that shinneth more and more unto the perfect day", Proverbs Chapter 4 : 18.  In other words, the righteous enjoys continuous promotion. The righteous does not have a better yesterday. The righteous is assured of a better tommorow.

Friend, there is no sort cut to the top. It is right standing before God that provokes your lifting. Those who prefer short cuts have cut short their destinies.

   Another dangerous thing that can hinder your promotion is when you fail to acknowledge God for previous promotions.  You are not really promoted because of your effort.You are promoted because of His mercy and favour. Romans Chapter 9  : 15 - 16, " For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy"

   If indeed you want to be promoted by God, look inward and make things right with God. He says if we confess our sins,  He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1st John Chapter 1: 9. The Bible tells us that the blessing of God makes rich and added no sorrow to it,  Proverbs Chapter 10: 22.

 I pray that God will bring you under the umbrella of His mercy in Jesus name. Amen.

True Promotion

Last week we dealt on the topic jubilation and ended by saying that you should win a soul so that heaven will jubilate. Hope you have won a soul congratulation. This week we are going to deal with the topic TRUE PROMOTION: PSALM 75:6-7 "For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west nor from the south,  But God is the judge; he putteth down one and setteth up another Psalm:75 6-7.

If you desire promotion there is only one direction to look above,unto God. Any attempt to look else where will be a futile exercise as you may not get what you truly desire. The scripture in the book of Psalm 75:6-7 makes it clear that God is the one who promotes. When God wants to promote you, He does not need to consult man You may lobby man, but you cannot lobby God. God will do what is right and just. One of the things that can position you for promotion is favour.When you find favour before God, He will elevate you. This month you will find favour before god and He will elevate you. Read that Psalm and ask the Holy Spirit the explain it the more to you. Until I come your way next week remained blessed

An Instrument of Jubilation

Philippians Chapter 4 verse 4

There are a number of reasons why people jubilate. At the end of a soccer tournament, the winning team jubilates while the losers will be in a sober mood. Apart from the team members, their fans will also share in their joy and join in the celebration. In most cases the fans tend to make more noise than the players. Why is this so? It is because of the value that they attach to the game of soccer. The irony of it all is that while the team gets a reward for their outstanding performance, the fans get no rewards. One of the reasons the winner team jubilates is because of the reward that comes with the victory. Generally, people jubilate over good news. It is my prayer that God will cause you to hear good news this season in Jesus name, AMEN. Not just good news but the one that you are a direct beneficiary of in Jesus name. Losers do not jubilate.This season, you will win every battle against the enemy in Jesus mighty name, AMEN.   Beyond physical and material gains, God wants us to look at things that are of eternal value. Something that promotes the kingdom of God, for example, soul winning. When a soul is converted, heaven jubilates and the soul winner gets a reward for bringing joy in heaven. How often do you cause joy in  heaven.

Friend, let your focus be on how to trigger off heavenly jubilation. Do not be carnally minded.

Physical jubilation can be temporal, but the one that has to do with the kingdom business is eternal and attracts eternal rewards. God wants you to be a kingdom promoter. This you can do by winning souls, encouraging fellow believers to serve God in spirit and in truth. Also, you can promote kingdom work by your  labour of love in God's vineyard. Be more kingdom minded and less carnally minded and you will experience increasing joy in your daily work with God.
